“Meaning of life” – seminar delivered by Dr Anna Barchetti Durisch in Pattaya, Thailand.
Purpose of our life, search for a meaning, coping with feeling of hopelessness and depression, meaningfulness of our life experiences, life as an opportunity to create meaning – are some of the subjects tackled during the seminar.
Visiting Baphumelele, an orphanage in Khayelitsha, Western Cape, South Africa, and one of Helios Life’s partners.
“Addressing problems of death and loss counseling in youth and adults”- grief counseling practices – seminar for social workers, counselors, psychologists and therapists.
Seminar and workshops led by Dr Anna Barchetti Durisch, consisting in identifying techniques of grief counseling as well as understanding deeper the concept of death and loss, including case studies.
Visiting Dieu Giac Orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which shelters and cares for over 120 abandoned, orphaned and street children.

A seminar on happiness delivered by Dr Anna Barchetti Durisch at the United Nations HRC; during a side event.
Collaboration in drafting the project following the request from the Minister of Education of Sri Lanka, Hon Bandula Gunawardhana;
the Center is expected to play a pivotal role in the transformation of the teacher development process in the region of South Asia;
approved as an Institute under the auspices of UNESCO; established in Sri Lanka within the premises of the National Institute of Education.
Visiting Mandela Park – a township in Hout Bay, Western Cape, South Africa, built against a mountain, with about 50 000 people living in conditions of extreme poverty, suffering problems of HIV, unemployment, substance abuse and gang violence.
